Happy Holidays and New Year
I've been a little quiet as far as the DeviantArt community is concerned. Now that the holiday season is slowly winding down, I'm getting ready for the new year, and my birthday (I'll be turning 20).
I like to think that this year has been one of transformation for me. I have changed a lot this year. One thing that hasn't changed is my love of photography. I have made many new friends this year, and am looking forward to keeping in contact with them well into 2010 and beyond.
And to the DA community- I am thankful for the opportunity to share and explore all forms of art here. This community continues to be a wonderful form of inspiration f
Yay!
Had my first paying photography gig today! :D
I'll post the pictures soon.

Rather than actual features, I've decided to just post a few of my recent favorites. Maybe I'll do better next month?
Reorganization Update
I've finished cleaning up my gallery, and even uploaded a few new shots. I need to organize my gallery collections, and maybe grab a CSS and I'll be done with that portion of my to-do list.
It seems that my organization bug spilled over into other parts of my life; I decorated my bedroom.
My grandmother gave me a box of old photos. I used string, thumb tacks and paper clips to make the "photo line." By using paper clips to secure the photos to the line, I can rearrange and change the photos easily.
I also hung a few paper cranes from my ceiling. I still have a jar full of paper cranes that will be going up soon.

Well, it's been six months since my last post on dear ol' DA. In those six months a lot of things have changed, starting with my employment status. As of March, I am an official IT worker. I was hired on by an insurance company some of you may know: Aflac.
In addition to my occupation, I now have a new car. In keeping with the tradition of my first car (an '89 Honda Accord), I decided to look at Honda. And, of course, I fell in love with the Civic. Though I had to wait a week for the particular model (manual transmission) I wanted to come in, it was well worth the wait. I've just this week made my first road trip in her (her name is Moira, by the way).
Aside from my car and job, I have one more announcement: I got a new doggie! A sweet Great Dane puppy (now named Sadie) that is afraid of the dark. Ha-ha.
In short, Sadie, Moira, Aflac, and I are all doing well! (Hopefully another six months will not pass before I post again.)
